Superior Solar Panel Installations

Integrity RV Solar has developed a unique and superior way to install solar panels.

Instead of using the 4″ brackets most installers use,
Integrity RV Solar uses Galvanized
Unistrut Channel mounts, that we cut to a length at 12 inches per mounting foot.
That (triples) the adhesive gluing surface area per panel.

INSTALLATION PROCESS:

● First, we prepare the RV roof surface mounting areas, by wire brushing or sanding to remove any dirt, mildew, and oxidation, then wipe it all down with acetone. This process insures maximum adhesion.

● We come to the job with the 4″ brackets already mounted to the solar panels and bolted to the Galvanized Unistrut Channel mounts.

● We then Glue and Screw the Galvinized Unistrut to the roof with
3M 5200 Marine Adhesive.
This product is completely waterproof and flexible.
(This product is the best and most utilized adhesive for building Yachts, and boats.)

☆ This process allows versatility in the event that a solar panel is broken or becomes defective and needs to be replaced.

☆ Imagine having to replace a panel for any reason.

If you glued and screwed the panels with just the 4″ brackets, (which there is no access to the mounting hardware), you will need to:
…TEAR it off the Roof!
This will damage your RV roof surface!!!☆ Instead, you will be able to simply unscrew the bolts from the 4″ brackets that are bolted to the Galvinized Unistrut Channel mounts; that are glued and screwed to the roof.
NO DAMAGE!!!○ The other advantages are that you can mount a solar panel TILTING APPERATUS for bolting to the Unistrut Channel at a later date.
Tilting the panels towards the Sun can increase your solar panel’s efficiency.Or, if you need or want to resurface your RV roof with a UV protection coating, you can just unbolt the panels, move them out of the way, and when you’re done, bolt them back on.A far superior and versatile mounting procedure.
